UK-based Kistos has signed a sale and purchase agreement with Vår Energi for a 10% working interest in three production licences in the Norwegian Balder-Ringhorne area; the upfront payment is USD 12.9m (effective 1 January 2026). It adds 4.3 mmboe net (reserves and resources combined), with the resource volumes expected on stream from 2029. Completion still needs approval from the Norwegian Ministry of Energy (Kistos, exchange announcement, 14 Oct 2026).
