Zurich Airport plans to completely replace Dock A (part of Terminal 1, currently 33 gates), in use since 1985. Construction is planned to start in 2030, with a budget of roughly CHF 700 million, for a sustainable new building of about 160,000 m² floor area, built largely in timber with a photovoltaic system. Completion is planned for 2033 (the year 2030 given in the source list corresponds to the planned construction start, not completion).
