Recordati to cut 55 jobs at its Campoverde plant in Aprilia

Recordati has opened a collective redundancy procedure at its Campoverde active-ingredient plant in Aprilia (Latina province) covering 55 of its 301 permanent staff, 7 white-collar and 48 blue-collar. The group cites smaller batch sizes for its in-house drug products, Chinese and Indian competition and a planned volume drop of about 21% (roughly 120 tonnes) in 2027–29; production is to be concentrated on fewer lines and department 337 closed. It rules out short-time work and solidarity contracts, and talks with the unions are under way at Unindustria in Latina (Latina Oggi, 17.09.2026).
