On 5 August 2026 Vienna-based medical technology company P&F Products & Features GmbH announced the acquisition of AVVie GmbH, combining AVVie's research and development infrastructure and intellectual property with its own capabilities. At the heart of the deal is the AngelValve transcatheter platform for treating mitral valve regurgitation, which according to the company affects more than 13 million people in Europe and the United States. Financial terms were not disclosed (P&F press release distributed via PR Newswire).
