Report: Undisclosed investor to create 230 jobs in Pécs

According to Világgazdaság, the Pécs city assembly voted in closed session on 20 October 2026, at the request of an unnamed international company, to lease a municipal office building (2,139 m²) for more than ten years; the agreement took effect on 21 October 2026. A business services centre is to open there with initially 230 jobs (later up to 300), with hiring planned from next autumn; the company funds the refit of nearly HUF 460m.
