Beijer Ref signed a binding agreement on 24 August 2026 for 90% of Vilnius-based Refra, a maker of HVAC/R systems using natural refrigerants with about SEK 500m in annual turnover; an option on the remaining shares exists and the price was not disclosed. Update (9 Oct 2026): after Lithuania's competition authority cleared the deal without conditions, the purchase has closed; Refra is consolidated from 9 October 2026 and keeps its brand (Beijer Ref, 24 Aug 2026 and 9 Oct 2026).
