The Fornebu Line is an 8.15 km fully underground extension of the Oslo Metro from Majorstuen to Fornebu in Bærum municipality, with six new stations including Skøyen, Lysaker and Flytårnet. Construction began on 11 December 2020; investment cost is estimated at just over NOK 23 billion (2021 price level). Originally planned for 2027, the line is now expected to open in 2029.
