Barilla to invest €100m in integrated pasta hub in Foggia

On 18 September 2026 Barilla presented a new industrial plan for southern Italy and is investing €100m in an integrated pasta hub in Foggia: a next-generation mill will be added alongside the existing pasta factory, replicating the integration model the company already runs in Parma. The works are to be carried out between 2028 and 2030. The plan holds out the prospect of new employment, but no figure for new jobs was given (ANSA, 18 Sep 2026; l'Immediato, 18 Sep 2026).
