The Czech railway České dráhy put a new 67-metre, double-track drive-through hall for the maintenance of regional trains into operation at the Havlíčkův Brod maintenance centre on 28 May 2026; it cost over CZK 235 million (approx. Its equipment includes inspection pits, roof-access gantries, an overhead crane rated for up to 12.5 tonnes and lifting jacks, and it will mainly service the RegioPanter and RegioFox trains of the Vysočina and Pardubice regions. Almost fifty technicians work on more than 50 vehicles of seven classes at the site; the hall is part of a modernisation programme for the service facilities, and a washing plant costing almost CZK 90 million was opened there in 2023 (LOK Report, 2 Jun 2026). Update (2 June 2026): České dráhy has put its new repair hall at the Havlíčkův Brod maintenance centre into operation. (LOK Report, 2 June 2026)
