Report: Schneider Electric puts 110 jobs at risk in Marktheidenfeld and Lahr

According to IG Metall Würzburg, around 110 jobs in total are at risk at Schneider Electric Automation GmbH's Marktheidenfeld (Main-Spessart district) and Lahr (Baden-Württemberg) sites; unlike in earlier rounds, engineering and development roles are affected this time as well. Actual production in Marktheidenfeld had already been discontinued around five years ago, and the works council warns that development expertise is being relocated to China and India.
