UFI Hydrogen inaugurates hydrogen site in Serravalle di Ala

UFI Hydrogen, the hydrogen arm of the UFI Filters group, formally inaugurated its industrial and technology site in Serravalle di Ala (Trentino) on 25 September 2026; on 14,000 sq m (6,000 sq m of it covered), operating since the first quarter of 2025, the company combines development, testing, industrialisation and production of components for electrolysers and fuel cells. Around €50m of investment is planned by 2029, and the local workforce is to grow gradually to about 100 people (ANSA, 25 September 2026; second source: Adnkronos, 25 September 2026).
