Moto Guzzi reopens revamped €50m-plus plant in Mandello del Lario

On 2 September 2026, after almost five years of construction, Piaggio/Moto Guzzi inaugurated its rebuilt factory in Mandello del Lario on Lake Como. Over EUR 50 million was invested to expand the site from roughly 30,000 to 38,000 m²; production capacity is intended to rise to more than 30,000 motorcycles per year. No specific new-jobs figure was given at the inauguration.
