Film maker Irplast inaugurated a new 'Lisim' extrusion line (Brückner Maschinenbau technology) for recyclable high-performance polypropylene packaging film at its Atessa plant on 15 September 2026; the line has an annual capacity of 30,000 t. The investment of over €60m targets the requirements of the new EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and strengthens the production hub in Abruzzo (Chiaro Quotidiano, 15 September 2026; Alimentando, 16 September 2026).
