On 25.09.2026 Dublin-based power management group Eaton agreed to buy COL Group, an Italian maker of medium-voltage distribution equipment (including SF₆-free switchgear, grid automation and modular power systems), from Oaktree's Power Opportunities strategy at an enterprise value of €810m. COL Group has about 400 employees at sites in Turin, Milan, Bergamo and Catania and forecasts sales of €250m for 2027; Eaton aims to expand its manufacturing for data centre and utility customers in Europe.
