Agrovision Burgrain closes four farm shops, affecting 8 jobs

Four self-service farm shops of Agrovision Burgrain will be closed as of the beginning of April 2026. The reason is considerable planning and investment uncertainty due to the political debate on amending the shop closing law and the announced referendum. Under current conditions they are not cost-covering. 8 employees are affected, 5 of them full-time positions. The organic farm with its own production and the restaurant in Alberswil will remain.
