The Circle opened on 5 November 2020 at Zurich Airport after more than five years of construction, jointly developed by Flughafen Zürich AG and Swiss Life. Built on what the operator calls Switzerland's largest construction site, it comprises two hotels (Hyatt Regency, Hyatt Place) with a convention centre for 2,500 people, office space for international companies, retail and restaurants, and a University Hospital Zurich health centre. Investment figures reported range from roughly CHF 1 to 1.2 billion depending on the source.
