Beobank launches Beobank Pay payment app with Wero integration

Beobank customers can thereby handle instant payments (P2P, domestic and international) with the roughly 55 million active Wero users. A further building block of the European Payments Initiative (EPI) against the dominance of PayPal, Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay; a Wero expansion to the Netherlands and Luxembourg is imminent.

Wero has so far been available in Belgium, France and Germany; e-commerce and POS payments follow in 2026.
