The six-year contract, with an extension option, covers 121 MW of IT load on Nvidia Vera Rubin systems at Bitdeer's Tydal campus, which runs entirely on hydroelectric power. Capacity is to be delivered in two phases, by 31 December 2026 and 31 March 2027. The financing was made possible by a USD 1.3 billion credit backstop from JP Morgan affiliates and a second major institution.

First reported by Bloomberg on 4 August 2026 and picked up independently by several trade outlets. The counterparty is Volta Infra, a company founded only in January 2026 by former Brookfield executives, which has raised USD 300 million in venture capital at a USD 2.4 billion valuation; its investors include Nvidia. The amount is reported in US dollars, so no euro investment volume is given.
