On the Pyhrn Railway (Linz – Selzthal), the roughly 8.5 km currently single-track section between Hinterstoder station and the Pießling-Vorderstoder operating point is being upgraded to double track with a straightened alignment – according to the ÖBB project brochure and Wikipedia this is a double-track, not four-track, expansion. The project is already in the planning stage per ÖBB Infrastruktur; per Wikipedia, construction is scheduled between late 2025 and 2031 and will allow speeds of up to 160 km/h. Hinterstoder will also become a barrier-free stop with a park-and-ride facility; investment costs are not publicly specified.
