Italgas has signed a binding agreement with Marubeni and Toho Gas to buy all shares in Meet Europe Natural Gas, which holds 22.5% of Portuguese gas distribution operator Floene; the equity value is around €120m. Floene runs a network of roughly 14,000 km serving some 1.1m active users, including the concession for the Lisbon metropolitan area; completion is subject to regulatory approvals (Italgas, 02.10.2026).
