Nlcomp opens first composite-materials plant in Monfalcone

Italian start-up Nlcomp is opening its first production site (the roughly 4,000 m² 'rFactory') in the Lisert industrial zone in Monfalcone, making recyclable composite materials for boatbuilding and wind energy. At the same time the shipyard and shipping group Ocean is joining as a shareholder; the company raised more than €1.5m in total. No separate investment figure for the plant itself was disclosed.
