Austria's last envelope maker ÖKI announces job cuts in Hirm

Austria's last remaining envelope manufacturer announced on 14 July that it will cut production capacity and staff at its Hirm site, citing a European envelope market shrinking by around 7 percent annually and rising production costs. An early-warning notice has been filed with the AMS labour office; the exact number of job cuts (the site employs over 70 people in total) is still being negotiated with the AMS and the works council.
