Končar announces an investment cycle of €800m in total with partners; its core is the €260m expansion of the transformer plant in Zagreb-Jankomir as a joint venture with Siemens Energy, to raise capacity significantly given high demand for grid equipment. About 350 new jobs are to be created, around 250 in production and 100 specialists; Prime Minister Plenković called the project strategically important (Total Croatia News citing Poslovni, 12 May 2026).
