The Gemini wind farm is located in the North Sea about 85 km north of the Dutch province of Groningen (roughly 55 km offshore) and comprises 150 Siemens Gamesa SWT-4.0-130 turbines (4 MW each), totalling 600 MW of installed capacity. It is operated by a consortium led by Northland Power (with Alte Leipziger-Hallesche, HVC and Siemens/SAG); full commissioning was completed in May 2017.
