ABZ Innovation opens new drone plant in Szentendre

Hungarian drone maker ABZ Innovation opened its new global manufacturing centre in Szentendre on 17.09.2026 — according to the city, one of Europe's largest facilities built specifically for civilian drones. The plant is about four times the size of the company's previous site; ABZ aims to triple production in 2026 and expand capacity further in 2027. About half the workforce comes from Szentendre and the surrounding area, and no new-jobs figure was given; the company's drones are used in over 40 countries (City of Szentendre, 18.09.2026).
