Bane NOR has commissioned the newest version of the digital train-control system ERTMS on the Gjøvik Line between Roa and Gjøvik; according to the operator this makes Norway one of the first countries in Europe running this system version in regular operation (a "historic day"). The Gjøvik Line is about 124 km long overall and connects Oslo with Gjøvik; the Vestfold Line is next in the nationwide ERTMS rollout. The project page does not state a specific investment figure, and Bane NOR notes that all three signalling suppliers have reported delays across the overall programme.
