BYD begins test production at first European plant in Szeged

BYD has started trial production at its first European passenger car plant in Szeged; series start in Q2 2026. The first model is the Dolphin Surf, with planned capacity of initially around 150,000 and a maximum of up to 300,000 vehicles per year.
