Danish infrastructure investor A.P. Moller Capital is buying, through a separately managed fund vehicle, a majority stake in the Belgium-anchored Euroports group, which runs more than 50 seaport and inland terminals in ten European countries and China, handles over 70m tonnes of dry bulk, breakbulk and liquid cargo a year and employs around 3,000 people. The Belgian state holding companies SFPIM (federal) and PMV (Flanders) stay on as minority shareholders; no price was disclosed, and completion is subject to regulatory approvals. It is A.P. Moller Capital's second investment in Europe after BERGÉ Logistics in Spain. (A.P. Moller Capital via GlobeNewswire, 28.09.2026) Update (21.10.2026): According to Baird Maritime the share purchase agreement was signed on 25 Sep 2026; the price depends on the group's consolidated 2026 EBITDA, and the seller side expects the required approvals in the first quarter of 2027 (Baird Maritime, 28 Sep 2026).
