The Danish Ministry of Taxation is cutting 610-640 jobs (out of 12,500) across six agencies (Skattestyrelsen, Motorstyrelsen, Gældsstyrelsen, Toldstyrelsen, and others). Goal: DKK 1.1 bn in savings by 2030 as part of the state efficiency programme (DKK 5.5 bn in savings in total). Staff numbers had almost doubled since 2014, from 6,600 to 12,500.
