Norwegian is going ahead with 123 redundancies at its Copenhagen base after concluding talks with the union Flyvebranchens Personale Union (FPU), affecting 53 pilots and 70 cabin crew. Most will leave at the end of January 2027, the rest ten months later. The background is a cut in the summer base fleet from 16 to 14 aircraft, with only ten needed in winter; some summer routes will in future be flown by aircraft based in Spain. The union calls it an attempt to undermine Danish working conditions (DR, 27 Oct 2026).
