Mureș County wins almost RON 240m for data centre in Sânpaul

The public data centre is meant to offer companies computing and storage services and attract investment to the region.

Mureș County Council, together with the company running the Mureș Industrial Park, has won funding for a data centre with a project value of almost RON 240m, council president Péter Ferenc announced. It will be built on two plots totalling 20,020 m² in Sânpaul; the project's technical and economic indicators were approved on 14.07.2026, while the report gives no construction timetable, capacity or funding body.
