Ends the caretaker phase that began when the Bolojan government fell on 5 May 2026; the budget revision and the 2027 budget are next
The cabinet consists of PSD ministers and independents; Alexandru Nazare is finance minister and Dumitru Chisăliță energy minister. The Liberals under Ilie Bolojan and the UDMR support it from outside, the AUR opposes it. Bolojan's government was toppled by a no-confidence vote on 5 May 2026 after the PSD left the coalition (Agerpres, 20 Oct 2026; AFP via Kuwait Times; Reuters, 5 May 2026).
