Cerebras and Compute Nordic build 165MW AI data centre in Mikkeli

The facility will scale in phases from 50 to 80 to 165 MW of contracted IT capacity, leased to Cerebras through service orders with seven-year terms each. At full scale the partners put the investment at EUR 1.0–1.7 billion for the region with an estimated 80–250 permanent jobs; closed-loop water cooling and waste-heat recovery for the town are planned. This firms up the 200 MW European expansion announced in July 2026 (entry 9f976308) — the investment volume is not double-counted.
