Finnish technology group Metso has signed an agreement to acquire Brazilian bronze-alloy component maker Italbronze, which supplies mining, aggregates, automotive and agriculture. More than 470 employees would transfer to Metso with the business; the price is confidential, with closing expected by the end of 2026 subject to competition approval (Metso, press release, 20 Oct 2026).
