Mubea closes stabiliser bar plant in Kežmarok, 123 jobs lost

German automotive supplier Mubea is closing its plant for stabiliser bars in Kežmarok; 123 employees lose their jobs, the first left in July 2026 and the last wave is due to conclude by the end of the year. The company cites the prolonged decline of the European market for stabiliser bars; production is being consolidated at the main plant in Spain. The trade union OZ KOVO was consulted before the announcement (Eurofound European Restructuring Monitor, June 2026).
