Private equity firm OpenGate Capital has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Maersk Training and its subsidiary Maersk H2S Safety Services, which are being carved out of A.P. Møller-Mærsk. The Svendborg-based business provides safety training, simulation and hydrogen sulphide monitoring services in high-risk environments worldwide. The announcement gives no price (OpenGate Capital, 10 August 2026).
