BASF starts up new emollients plant in Düsseldorf

On 16 July BASF brought a new production plant for specialty emollients (based on renewable feedstocks, for skin-care and sun-care products) online at its Düsseldorf site — according to the company its largest single investment at the site in ten years; construction took around two years.
