The 403 m steel lattice bridge between Aalborg and Nørresundby is receiving catenary masts, contact rails and overhead lines; the lift span's counterweight must be increased by almost 25 t. The current phase lasts four weeks and the lift span follows in 2027; it would be Denmark's first electrified lift bridge. Announced on 16.10.2026; the date 31.12.2027 is a placeholder, only the year is stated (LOK Report, 16.10.2026).
