Supercell announced on 5 May 2026 that it would bring Merge Mansion into its portfolio and acquire the remaining shares in Helsinki studio Metacore; no price was given (Supercell, 5 May 2026). Update (19 October 2026): the acquisition has been completed and Metacore is now wholly owned by Supercell (MobileGamer.biz, 19 October 2026).
