On 15 July 2026, MAN and Polish finance and economy minister Domański signed a memorandum on the further expansion of the Niepołomice truck plant near Kraków: €350m by the end of 2030 and around 400 new jobs; the plant will get its own cab body shop and paint shop for the new truck generation on the TRATON platform. Warsaw puts the total programme to 2038 at over PLN 5bn (approx. €1.2bn). Series production of the first electric eTGL started the same day. Second source: Rzeczpospolita.
