Tārgale solar park near Ventspils with 148 MWp enters operation

Danish developer European Energy opened the Tārgale solar park on 18 Jun 2026, its first completed project in Latvia: 148 MWp installed at a 110 MW grid connection, investment €80m, about 154,550 MWh of electricity a year, enough for roughly 60,000 households. The Danish pension fund Sampension holds 50% (LSM English, 18 Jun 2026).
