Banedanmark is electrifying the roughly 42 km Northwest Line between Holbæk and Kalundborg on Zealand, including about 500 catenary masts and two autotransformer stations (Regstrup, Jyderup); site preparation (clearing, land acquisition) is underway. According to a Banedanmark statement, the completion originally targeted for 2028 will not be met due to delays by the main contractor (Aarsleff Rail/Siemens) and knock-on delays from the Fredericia–Aarhus–Aalborg line; no new schedule has been confirmed yet.
