S-Pankki bids €571m for Oma Säästöpankki

Finland's S-Pankki (S Group, Helsinki) on 09.07.2026 launched a cash offer of €17.20 per share for listed Oma Säästöpankki, recommended by the target's board; this values the deal at around €571.4m and represents a 47% premium to the previous day's closing price. Oma Säästöpankki serves more than 200,000 retail and corporate customers through 48 branches with about 600 staff; S-Pankki aims to gain scale and efficiency from the combination. Approvals from the ECB and the competition authority are among the conditions, with completion planned for the fourth quarter of 2026 (S-Pankki press release, 09.07.2026).
