Shikun & Binui Energy has brought the 104 MW solar farm near Șimleu Silvaniei into regular commercial operation — the Israeli group's second PV plant in Romania (total capacity there now 175 MW). CJR Renewables was the construction contractor; financing included a €49 million loan from Raiffeisen Group. A further 1.16 GW of generation plus 730 MWh of storage are in the company's Romanian pipeline.
