The Federal Cartel Office has approved the acquisition of the hearing aid chain Kind by the Danish Demant Group. The combination creates Germany's largest hearing care chain with around 1,000 branches. Update (01.12.2025): Demant completed the acquisition of the Kind group after all conditions were met; the purchase price is €700m, and Kind, with around 650 clinics, is consolidated from 01.12.2025 (Demant stock exchange release, 01.12.2025).
