Kiepe Electric hands trolleybus business to Carrosserie Hess

Kiepe Electric of Düsseldorf has transferred its trolleybus electrical systems unit to Carrosserie HESS, with which it has worked for years and which makes electric bus solutions; Kiepe will in future concentrate fully on systems and components for rail vehicles (new vehicles and modernisations). The company says this lets it invest specifically in technological innovation. Existing customers keep their current contacts; in Italy the local Hess company provides technical support for the existing trolleybus fleets as an approved service partner.
