German cabinet adopts Digital Identities Act for d-you wallet

Germany's federal cabinet adopted the Digital Identities Act (DIdG) on 9 September 2026, implementing the EU requirement for the EUDI wallet. The German app is branded "d-you" and is set to launch in January 2027 with 40 initial partners from business, science and administration (bundesregierung.de, 09.09.2026).
