Hamburg-based solar park operator and developer Enerparc AG filed for insolvency in early September 2026; the Hamburg district court appointed lawyer Stefan Denkhaus as preliminary insolvency administrator on 7 September 2026. Around 380 of the group's roughly 700 employees are directly affected by the holding company's insolvency — just six months after the firm had secured financing of up to EUR 1 billion (pv magazine, 7 September 2026). Update (15 Sept 2026): Provisional administrator Stefan Denkhaus named the trigger as a project-related financing for solar projects with battery storage that collapsed at the end of June 2026 — explicitly not the financing package of up to EUR 1 billion announced in March 2026. Enerparc was subsequently unable to meet its obligations for ordered supplies. Sister companies Pvwerk and Sonnen Tiefbau are now also in provisional self-administered insolvency. Of the 90 solar plants under construction, the 14 to 15 most advanced projects are being examined as a priority to see whether they can continue to be built during the proceedings; an investor process is to start shortly (pv magazine, 15 Sept 2026).
