Ergo Versicherung, a subsidiary of the reinsurance group Munich Re, is cutting around 1,000 jobs by the end of 2030. The job cuts are part of a savings programme by the parent company Munich Re. Ergo operates in more than 30 countries with around 40,000 employees and is Germany's second-largest insurance group.
