BBBank announces merger with PSD Bank Hessen-Thüringen

The Karlsruhe-based BBBank announces the merger with PSD Bank Hessen-Thüringen retroactive to 1 January 2026. It had previously already acquired PSD Bank Berlin-Brandenburg and is thereby significantly expanding its presence in the PSD segment. Update (13 June 2026): BBBank's representative assembly (100%) and the general assembly of PSD Bank Hessen-Thüringen (97%) approved the merger; staff were given a job guarantee until the end of 2034. Evidence of legal completion is not yet available (BBBank, 13 June 2026). Update (13.09.2026): The merger has been completed — BBBank and PSD Bank Hessen-Thüringen combined their IT systems from 11 to 13.09.2026, with the changed contact details and services applying from 14.09.2026; legally, the merger takes effect retroactively from 01.01.2026 (BBBank merger information: https://www.bbbank.de/meine-bbbank/fusion/hinweise-zur-fusion.html).
